Apogee Software Defined Antenna

1. Steep Active Filters

Apogee’s steep active filters suppress 99% of adjacent out of band noise, cleaning up the RF environment which maximizes the access points ability to send and receive traffic.

2. Greater Coverage Area

Apogee Software Defined Antenna Platform achieves 9db of Tx gain while maintaining a 90° beamwidth producing a robust Tx signal spread over approximately an 5x area compared to other directional antennas with similar gain.

3. Asymmetrical Gain

Client devices – your smartphone, tablet and laptop Wi-Fi radio’s only operate at 1/10th of a watt of power so they can’t transmit very far. Apogee’s Asymmetric Gain boost the client’s ability to transmit over Wi-Fi with streaming quality signal an unheard of 1,000 feet away from Apogee.

4. Apogee Manager

Apogee Manager is a secure cloud-based management platform designed, built and operated by Aura. Using AES 256-bit encryption Apogee manager establishes encrypted tunnels enabling users to define antenna type, configure and manage one or more Apogee antennas.

Embedded Tools for Precision Installations

  • During installation Apogee Manager will assist in determining azimuth and elevation of Apogee’s antenna pattern to optimize signal propagation to the desired coverage area.

Send to Apogee

  • All configuration of each Apogee antenna is produced in Apogee Manager. Port assignment, band selection and polarity are all defined and saved in a unique profile that is downloaded to the antenna.

Firmware updates

  • All firmware updates are delivered via Apogee Manager. There is no need for onsite technicians to visit an Apogee as new features and functions are made available.
