CASE STUDY #1 - AUTO GLASS COMPANY

THE CHALLENGES

This privately-held automotive glass company with 600+ locations deployed over 5,000 Galaxy Note 2,3,4 models in use by their technicians. These phone models were frequently repurposed over the course of several years. The mobile phone cases that protected these models were frequently end of life after two years. These cases were required to be shipped in bulk quantities to our customers provisioning center. In addition, the cases selection was limited to specific customer corporate colors. Smart phone case manufactures have a limited production time range on specific cases. The availability of carry case options is limited per smart phones that are in use well after their release date.

THE SOLUTION

Can-Am arranged custom production of case/holsters from a China based manufacturing partner. Can-Am coordinated overseas production and delivery to our customers fulfillment center. A favorable MOQ was negotiated for production of mobile phone cases featuring our customers corporate colors. Our manufacturing partner continued to produce cases for Galaxy Note 2 and 3 models that were well past end of life.

THE BENEFITS

Our customer was able continually protect their technicians Galaxy Note 3 and 4 models for several years until a recent companywide phone upgrade in 2017. Bulk shipments were coordinated in delivered on a timely basis throughout the year. The desired corporate color scheme of each production run was consistent with their brand.

CASE STUDY #2 - PLUMBING/HVAC COMPANY

THE CHALLENGES

This Fortune 500 Wholesale Plumbing and HVAC company required tablet mounts installed in roughly 3,500 fleet vehicles in support of the ELD mandate. The mounting components that compiled the mount kit were produced by different manufactures. A kit must be created to include all the necessary components for each vehicle. Seeking a reseller with the flexibility to provide the various manufacture part components, create the custom kits, and then direct ship on schedule

THE SOLUTION

Can-Am was an able to provide the necessary components from the approved manufactures, receive freight shipments and warehouse for our customer. Can-Am then created the individual kits as instructed by the customer. We were then able to direct ship the mount kits on schedule to each of the 1000 plus branch addresses
